Swami Atmarupananda’s Visit to Dallas 

 

(July 28 – August 3, 2010) 

 

Swami Atmarupananda is a renowned scholar, teacher, and monk of the Ramakrishna Order of India. After joining the Order in 1969, he spent seven years in India, engaged in monastic training and scholarly and spiritual pursuits. Upon returning to the United States, he was posted, from 1984-1997, as the resident minister of the San Diego branch of the Vedanta Society of Southern California. Later the swami served for seven years as the resident minister of the Vivekananda Retreat at Ridgely, New York. Swami Atmarupananda is a member of the Snowmass Inter-Spiritual Dialog, an instructor of Hinduism at the Spiritual Paths Institute, and a well-known lecturer in America and abroad. Currently the swami resides at the Ramakrishna Monastery in Trabuco Canyon, California, where he is the monk in charge
